Students love games! There is no better way to get students actively (and sometimes loudly) engaged in your content. In this session, we will take a look at some games that you’ve heard of and some that you might not be familiar with. We will get a chance to try out Kahoot, Gimkit, Blooket, QuizletLive, and Quizizz. Many of these games can be integrated with Google Classroom, can be differentiated and give you data as a formative assessment. Not only will we add some fun and excitement to your lesson plans, we will also talk about how these tools can be used to assess the strengths and weaknesses of your students as you are developing lessons, and adjusting your practice.
